With the printers usually dialed in pretty well, most prints go perfectly well from start to finish. And what few failed prints I have are generally unremarkable. But a failed print this afternoon certainly was a little unusual. I'm not entirely sure how it managed to turn out the way it did...
I started a print before grabbing lunch -- when I got back, I noticed a big gray protrusion bursting out, seemingly from within. Perhaps it's because I'm printing a rocket ship, or because Hans Gieger just passed away the day before, but it sure looks like something out of Alien... What an uncanny coincidence!
