I was recently at the Design2Parts expo in Pasadena, where manufacturers and service bureaus show their wares to people looking to make products. One service bureau's booth also featured a resin printer that could print amazing details with no visible layering artifacts when running at the highest resolution.
The Pico printer is not cheap - $7K to $9K - but for anyone doing really high-quality investment casting (Jewelry being the obvious use case), this printer is worth a serious look. The printed part had to be seen to be appreciated.
