3D Printed mechanical computer

Wow, what a marriage of the old and the new!    Chris Fenton put together an impressive 3D printed mechanical calculator which runs instructions off of punch-cards.   His published design includes the program cards for computing the first few digits of a Fibonacci sequence.

Charles Babbage invented the mechanical computer back in 1849, but it was never realized until the Science Museum (London) completed it in 2002.  For those of us in the U.S., be sure to check out the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California - they have one there, too
