lost-PLA casting in glass and bronze

Our friends at Deezmaker have been working on a number of interesting projects with their 3D printers, including some work in using 3D prints for artistic projects.  Joan (Deezmaker's VP of Business Development) reached out to art materials expert Nick Agid (www.agidarts.com) who helped them through the process of getting some pieces cast in brass and in glass.

I had a chance to see these pieces in person -- the bronze in particular was particularly interesting -- the pieces have a fair amount of heft to them, in stark contrast to the master objects that were originally made with our PLA filament
